Our 7-step mangosteen export quality process is documented, repeatable, and fully aligned with fresh produce import standards for the EU, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific markets.

7-step process

Every step, documented.

From field harvest to cold chain delivery — every stage of our Indonesian mangosteen export process is tracked, inspected, and certified for complete buyer traceability.

Field Harvesting

Fruit is hand-picked by trained farmers at peak ripeness, typically in early morning to minimise heat stress. Only fruit with full colour development and correct firmness is collected.

Field Sorting

Immediate first-pass rejection of cracked, latex-stained, or visibly damaged fruit at the collection point before transport to the packing facility.

Packing House Grading

Fruit is graded by diameter, weight, and visual inspection. Each grade is separated and batched. Sorting tables are sanitised between each harvest batch.

Export Packing & Labelling

Each fruit is wrapped in foam netting and placed into ventilated export cartons. Batch numbers, harvest date, origin, and grade are printed on every carton.

Pre-cooling & Cold Storage

Packed cartons are moved into cold storage at 10–13°C within 4 hours of packing. Temperature is monitored and logged continuously.

Phytosanitary Inspection

Third-party inspection by Indonesia's Plant Quarantine Agency (BKHIT). Random sampling is conducted per shipment. Certificate issued before departure.

Cold Chain Logistics

Reefer trucks transport cartons from cold storage to port or airport. For sea freight, reefer containers maintain 10–13°C throughout ocean transit.

Certifications & compliance.

All active shipments carry phytosanitary, health, and certificate of origin documentation — meeting fresh produce import requirements for the EU, Middle East, China, and Asia-Pacific. Additional international certifications are in progress.
